Kara and Sam were my very first 2017 wedding that I booked...way back in the spring of 2016. It is always so exciting to get that first date on the books for the upcoming year and this was no exception. I could tell that Kara had an amazing sense of planning and organization just by the questions she and her bridesmaid, Cherie, asked during the consultation!
Kara had a gorgeous vision of a Victorian theme for her wedding and I loved how she chose the perfect venue to pull it off. The house situated on the Atavista Farm property is stunning and I honestly would've loved to spend the day simply exploring it (I'm oddly fascinated with old buildings.) The grounds were in pristine condition and Kara and Sam had incorporated all of the perfect personal touches for their wedding day like Victorian keys as favors, and bubbles to make for an amazing reception entrance.
Throughout the day, it was apparent how caring and in love Sam and Kara are. As a wedding photographer, I get a unique vantage point...going back and forth between the couple on the morning of the wedding before they see each other. Kara and Sam were both so excited for the first look - both of them were ready to take on the day together.
Kara and Sam, thank you so much for letting me be a part of your gorgeous wedding day! It was such a privilege to have a roll during this part of your lives and I'm so grateful to have been a part of it! I appreciated your hilarious sense of humor as well as your kindness and generosity.
