I met Nick and Tiffany almost a year before their wedding date. They described a rich picture for me of the gorgeous color schemes they envisioned for the wedding as well as all of the amazing projects they were going to incorporate into their big day. My experience with their cozy, down-to-earth, and very creative style started at their engagement session. They brought along blankets, glowing letters, coffee in a bright yellow thermos, champagne and other props that introduced me to their elaborate but somehow still simple style!
Their wedding was no different. Knights Ranch is a beautiful, well-situated venue in historic Oakland, Oregon. We started the day at a private residence and made our way down to the old downtown district for our first look. The residents of Oakland were VERY eager to stop and say hello to us and offer suggestions on locations for photos...Most of which actually panned out! Then, enter one of the most "down for anything" wedding parties I have ever come across and we were destined to have some fun pics!
The ceremony sight was brimming over with Tiffany and Nick's golden DIY touch. There were some super cool, metal, circle thingies that Nick made that seemed like they required a LOT of work, not to mention intricate signage throughout. The wedding favors were beer glasses with Nick and Tiffany's personalized "brand" imprinted on them. And, in awesomely rustic fashion, Nick and Tiffany burned that "brand" into a pallet during the ceremony to be used as a guestbook!
I could go on and on about this sweet, endearing, loving couple. But the reality is, I know you want to see the pictures! It was a full wedding day with so many photo opportunities making it, as usual, very difficult to narrow down. So, enjoy! :)
